    It’s pretty easy for someone who’s not recovering from a knee injury to do haha. If you can’t straighten your leg thats ok. I’m 5 weeks post op acl recon. and i’m still at a -2 extension and 163 deg. range of motion.

    It depends on what your situation is. If you recendly had surgery or prolonged bedrest, etc. – you may just need to strengthen and stretch : Try to get it as straight as you can and work on that range, by using your quads to get the range you can, you will strengthen and eventually be able to get more range. if you feel a pull at the back of your leg and feel that is what is limiting you, stretch – pull it out, hold it as straight as u can for 30sec x 5 or so, w/o experiencing pain.

    proably im not doctor but i went to phys. therapy for my knee and that was one of the good ones eventually they had me use ankle weights.

    You probably have Osgood Schlatter’s disease. Don’t worry, its very common in teenagers (especially boys) and i have it too. Rest if its too bad and go see a physio. And yes, these exercises will help.

    absolutely right about pulling the toes to the nose. dorsiflexing the ankle is always a great detail in quad and even hamstring work that can be overlooked. good call.

    Also pull toes to your nose using ant tib with this exercise to make it more effective.
